Scott William Raynor Jr.- Is the former drummer of the band, and the one who had the idea to start Blink. He now plays drums for a band called Fantastica Bastidas and works with the Stand Up For Kids program.

In 2023 he transitioned into a career in law enforcement, and was sworn in as a officer with the San Diego Police Department.

In 1992, at the age of 14, Scott Raynor started a band with his friend Paul who later had to move he told Scott about Tom and met at a party. When Scott saw Tom DeLonge's skills at a local high school battle of the bands competition he knew they should play together. Tom was a guitarist and vocalist who was looking to get out of school, and he thought Raynor’s drumming skills were pretty impressive too. The two quickly hit it off and decided to form another band along with guitarist/friend Derek, originally called Duck Tape, but changed to blink shorty after on Scott's insistence.
