Matthew Thomas Skiba- Is the lead vocalist and guitarist for the band Alkaline Trio, and has currently joined Blink as guitarist and co-vocalist, to help them record a new album. In 2004 he started a solo band with Josiah Steinbrick called Heavens, (they broke-up 2008) and in 2012 went solo with Matt Skiba And The Sekrets.

In his spare time, Matt likes to paint, practice transcendental meditation, and he surfs.

In late 1996, Skiba formed Alkaline Trio with drummer Glenn Porter and bassist Rob Doran in McHenry, Illinois. The trio quickly gained attention in the Chicago punk scene with their raw, emotional lyrics and catchy, yet gritty melodies. After years of playing with Alkaline Trio and his other band Lektron, he joined Blink-182 in 2015 after filling in on a pinch for Tom and has being playing a writing music with them.
